Internet/Hyderabad, Aug 21 (Maxim News): Former Army Chief General Manoj Naravane has said that India’s main competition in the future will be with China. He said that since Pakistan is instigating terrorism against India, it will have to focus on its cousin.
He said that China is becoming India’s main competition in many fields. General Naravane made these comments on the occasion of the release of his new book ‘The Curious and Classified: Unearthing Military Myths and Mysteries’. It is known that Naravane served as the Indian Army Chief between 2019-22.
General Navarane said that India faces different problems with Pakistan and China. ‘We have fought wars with both countries. There will always be a threat from them. We have fought four wars with Pakistan. We have to focus on Pakistan, which is promoting terrorism. But in my opinion, in the long run, India’s main competition will be with China. There is a reason why I have called China a competitor, not an enemy. There is competition with China not only in the field of war, but also in the fields of politics, economics and trade.
