AIMIM worker Mahboob Ali | Hyderabad, August 31: AIMIM worker Mahboob Ali died after unidentified assailants allegedly attacked him with deadly weapons in Vattepally.
Ali suffered serious injuries in the attack at Alam’s Hotel. People rushed him to a hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
A video showing Ali lying on the road after the attack has also surfaced. The exact motive behind the assault remains unknown.
The incident has caused concern in the area. Police have begun efforts to identify those involved in the attack.
AIMIM Bahadurpura MLA Mohd Mubeen and MLC Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi visited Ali’s residence at Guntal in Falaknuma.
They met the bereaved family members and offered their condolences. The family has called for strict action against those responsible.

The authorities shifted Ali’s mortal remains for post mortem examination. The family is completing the necessary formalities, according to the statement issued by AIMIM representatives.
Later, Mubeen and Effendi visited Falaknuma Police Station. They met ACP Javeed and urged the police to take immediate action.
The leaders also sought strict action against those responsible for the alleged murder. They asked police to identify and arrest the accused.
AIMIM representatives urged the Telangana government and Hyderabad Police to strengthen patrolling in the area. They also called for action against anti social elements.
The leaders raised concerns about drugs and violent crime. They said stronger enforcement could help improve public safety.
Police are expected to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack as the investigation progresses. The motive, identity of the attackers and sequence of events remain subject to the police investigation.
