iPhone 17 Price | Apple has raised the iPhone 17 price in India by more than 20 percent after launching its new iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
The 256GB iPhone 17 now costs ₹99,900 in India. It earlier sold for ₹82,900. The increase adds ₹17,000 to the price, or about 20.5 percent.
The 512GB model has also become more expensive. Its price has risen from ₹1,02,900 to ₹1,24,900. That marks an increase of ₹22,000, or about 21.4 percent.
Apple has therefore moved the standard iPhone 17 closer to the ₹1 lakh price mark in India. The company has not introduced a standard iPhone 18 at its latest launch event.
As a result, the iPhone 17 remains the standard model available to buyers seeking a current generation iPhone. Apple has instead introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at the top end.
iPhone 17 Price Rises Amid Wider Apple Hikes
The iPhone 17 price increase forms part of a wider change across Apple’s India lineup. The company has also raised prices for the iPhone 16, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air.
The iPhone 16 now starts at ₹89,900. Its earlier starting price stood at ₹69,900. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17e has risen from ₹64,900 to ₹79,900.
The iPhone Air has recorded an even larger increase. Its 256GB model now starts at ₹1,49,900, compared with ₹1,19,900 earlier. That represents a ₹30,000 increase.
Apple has also increased prices for its newly launched Pro models. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 in India. The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900.
The price changes come amid a wider rise in memory and storage costs. Growing demand from artificial intelligence systems has put pressure on global memory supplies. Several technology companies now face higher component costs.
Apple launched the iPhone 17 in September 2025 at ₹82,900 for 256GB. The phone features a 6.3 inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion and the A19 chip. It also carries a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system.
Apple’s India store now lists the iPhone 17 from ₹99,900. The 512GB version costs ₹1,24,900.
The latest increase changes the usual pattern for Apple’s older models. The company has often reduced prices after launching newer iPhones. This time, however, existing models have become costlier instead.
The move could make the iPhone 17 less accessible to price sensitive buyers. It also narrows the gap between the standard model and Apple’s newer premium devices.
