TADJAC Backs Cong, Calls People To Defeat TRS

Hyderabad, April 7 (Maxim News): The Telangana Auto Drivers JAC today unanimously appealed to the people in general and the working class in particular to elect Congress candidates in April 11 Parliament elections.

TADJAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan addressing mediapersons here today, alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has failed to give even a single Lok Sabha seat to Muslim candidate and walking in the footsteps of the BJP. He also questioned AIMIM party president Asaduddin Owaisi on what basis he was supporting the TRS and participating in the election campaigning fully knowing that the TRS has denied proportionate representation to the Muslim community.

Amanullah Khan also alleged that Chief Minister KCR by exempting Rs 500 annual M.V. Tax on Autos has been playing with the lives of the poor auto drivers. He also alleged that Chief Minister KCR and his son TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao have conspired to send autos out of city and this was the reason why the existing Auto fares have not been increased over a period of more than five years. He said the Ola and Uber cabs were looting the travelling public in the name of “surge pricing” but the government remained as a silent spectator.

The Ola and Uber managements were fixing their cab charges and trying to run a parallel government. He alleged that new registration of Cabs was going on nonstop as the issue of permits was not restricted in the city. But there was new permit restriction on autos because new autos in the city are being sold in the black market at Rs 3 lakh and the government was doing nothing. Therefore, the auto drivers will be forced to launch a powerful movement for settlement of their reasonable demands.

TADJAC leaders K. Laxminarsaiah, K. Vamsi Krish, Mohammed Azeemuddin, Mohammed Lateef, Farooq Bhai were present. (Maxim News)
