Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News): After bitter experience faced by defected MLA of congress party from Yellandu Assembly constituency Haripriya Naik at hands of her voters, another defected MLA of party from Pinapaka, Rega Kantha Rao, also faced the ire of people of his district.
The incident took place during his local body election campaign held in Reddypalem village of boorgampad Mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem District. The villagers have obstructed his election campaign and asked him as to why he came to the village after leaving the party. They raised slogans against the MLA and asked him what had prompted him to join the ruling TRS party. They also questioned the decision of the MLA to campaign for the TRS party candidates. The supporters of the MLA came to his rescue and entered into an argument with them. Sensing that the situation was going out of control, the MLA left the village to protect himself from the ire of the people.(Maxim News)
