CM To Announce 3 MLC Candidates

Hyderabad, May 11 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to announce candidates for vacant three MLC seats. He was discussing with the party senior leaders on the probable candidates with good track record and serving the TRS.

KCR is understood to have completed the process of selecting the candidates for the Council – Upper House in Telangana State legislature. The Chief Minister is learnt to have invited ministers, who are camping in districts for local bodies’ polls to Hyderabad. He shared his views with them and took a decision to announce candidates for the MLC posts. Since last date of nominations will be ending on May 14, the TRS leadership reportedly finalized its candidates for the Upper House. An announcement in this regard is most likely to come soon, according to sources.

The candidates whose names are being figured include Patnam Mahender Reddy, who was defeated in the Assembly polls, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, T Ravinder Rao are in fray. Similarly, another important person now in the TRS is former MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy, who joined the ruling party from the Congress. Of these four, the Chief Minister is said to have taken a decision for roping in three candidates. The TRS leadership is to announce the list of the MLC candidates in a couple of days. (Maxim News)
