Raja Singh Arrested For Staging Dharna At Secretariat

Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): City police on Thursday arrested BJP MLA Raja Singh and his party activists for trying to stage a dharna in front of the Secretariat protesting the decision of the State Government to build a new Secretariat. Raja Singh was taken to Musheerabad police station.

Speaking on occasion, Raja Singh alleged that the State government was spending Rs 600 crore public money in the name of building a new Secretariat and Assembly complex for avoiding a vastu dosham. He made it clear that his party was against the move of the State government to build new Secretariat and Assembly complex. He also ridiculed Chief Minister KCR, who failed to build 2BHK houses for the poor, was very eager to build new Secretariat and Assembly complex. He demanded that State government spend the public money on welfare programs to help the poor.(Maxim News)
