Hyderabad, July 19 (Maxim News): Congress leader and disqualified MLC S. Ramulu Naik on Friday received the much needed relief in the Supreme Court in connection with his case. The Apex Court allowed the Special Leave Petition filed by Ramulu Naik challenging the decision of the Hyderabad High Court to dismiss his petition.
The country’s apex court also issued notices to the State government and chairman of the Telangana State Legislative Council and asked them to not issue any notification to fill the vacant MLC seat till the disposal of the case. The court later adjourned the matter for two weeks. Senior advocate of the Supreme Court Salman argued the case on behalf of Ramulu Naik. (Maxim News)
