Hyderabad, Oct.5 (Maxim News): TSRTC managing director Suneel Sharma on Saturday said some 3,000 buses were being operated by the Corporation after the crew went on indefinite strike. He said as against 850 buses of undivided Karimnagar district, 330 buses were being operated.
He also said they were operating 164 out of 750 buses in undivided Nalgonda District, 345 out of 797 in undivided Warangal, 250 out of 624 buses in undivided Adilabad District and 92 buses in undivided Nizamabad district. He also said 59 percent of total buses from Sangareddy were being operated.
Meanwhile, the State government allowed school buses to transport the people in the State. Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar called up a regional manager of the corporation Vijayabhaskar and asked him to take action against private bus operators, who are reluctant to run their buses.
