Tributes Paid To Sardar Patel On His Birth Anniversary

Hyderabad, Oct.31 (Maxim News): BJP state president, Dr K Laxman on Thursday said that veteran Congress leader Sardar Patel had an integral relationship with Hyderabad city. He made these remarks after paying tributes to Patel on the occasion of his birth anniversary at the party headquarters.

Speaking on the occasion, Laxman said that it was Patel who had freed the erstwhile Hyderabad State from the clutches of the Nizam. He also said that it was unfortunate that the Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao did not take any interest to honour the veteran Congress leader for freeing Hyderabad city.

Union minister of state Purushottam Rupala also spoke on the occasion. He said that the country could not forget the services rendered by Patel. He also said that the central government was marching towards the ‘shrest Bharat’ under the leadership of their party leader Narendra Modi. Former MP Vivek said that Patel had played a crucial role in uniting different provinces of the country. He said that the people of the country should follow in the footsteps of Patel and work hard to achieve his goals.(Maxim News)
