Hyderabad, Feb.27 (Maxim News): Home Minister Mahamood Ali suspended constable Sridhar of BDL Bhanur for creating controversy as he kicked Chandrasekhar for protesting with body of his daughter Sandhya Rani, a student of private college, who allegedly committed suicide.
The incident invited wrath of IT Minister KT Rama Rao, who asked Home Minister Mahamood Ali and DGP Mahender Reddy to take immediate action. He also expressed displeasure at the incident and directed the officials and staff to have sympathy on people facing grief.
The Home Minister asked Sangareddy SP Chandana Deepthi to suspend the constable for his atrocious behaviour. Sandhya Rani, a student of a private college in Ramachandrapuram near Patancheru, allegedly committed suicide and reasons are yet to be found. Her body was shifted from the Citizen hospital to area hospital in Patancheru for post mortem by Bhanur, BDL policemen, according to information.
Student union leaders staged a protest with her father by trying to take away the body to the college and the constable kicked on the back of Chandrasekhar. The DGP issued orders attaching the constable to Sangareddy Armed Reserve Headquarters. It was an unfortunate incident which will not repeat, Mahender Reddy added. (Maxim News)
