Gopannapally Lands: Revanth Says He Was Six When Irregularities Took Place

Hyderabad, Feb.26 (Maxim News): Congress MP from Malkajgiri A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday reacted on issue of Gopannapally lands.

Addressing mediapersons here, Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was angry with him as he was speaking on behalf of the people of the State. Responding to the allegations that he had encroached upon Gopannapally lands illegally, he said he was just six years old when the said irregularities took place in the year 1978. He said he was not even aware of the Gopannapally lands at that time.

Alleging that the TRS leaders were thinking that he would succumb to their pressure if legal cases were filed against his lands, the MP made it clear that he would continue to fight against the CM even at the cost of losing all his properties. He also alleged that the rulers of the state government were indulging in petty politics with a demand to cancel his “Patnam Gosa” program. He made it clear that he would expose MA&UD Minister K Tarakarama Rao and industrialist Rameswara Rao’s irregularities after completion of the ongoing Parliament session.(Maxim News)
