TPCC Chief Condemns Arnab’s Remarks Against Sonia Gandhi

Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said insulting remarks made by Republic TV reporter Arnab Goswami against their party president Sonia Gandhi. He said that they had already lodged a complaint against the remarks made by Goswami and urged the local SP to file a case against him immediately. Commenting on the relief measures announced by the state government like provision of 12kgs of free rice and ₹1500 financial assistance announced by the state government, he said that many of the poor people of the state did not receive the benefit so far.

He also alleged that there was no quality in the free rice being supplied by the state government. He asked the government if the free rice also had the share of 5 kgs of rice given by the central government. Commenting on the issue of the relief measures announced by the central government, he said that the Dal and gas promised by the center had not been received by the poor people of the state. He demanded the central government to extend the benefit to those who did not white ration cards. Raising the issue of the field assistants of the state, he demanded the state government to reinstate all the field assistants of the state to implement NREGS scheme.

He also demanded the state government to take steps to prevent the shortage of gunny bags. Raising the issue of sweet lime, he demanded the state government to buy all the sweet lime stock for ₹200 crore and serve it to the people of the state. Reddy also demanded the state government to increase the number of corona virus tests in the state to prevent the spread of the virus in the state.(Maxim News)
