Jayashankar Bhupalpally: A man allegedly murdered his wife by hitting her with a pestle at Kothapally village in Regonda mandal in the district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Vanga Yadamma (40).
The accused, who was identified as Vanga Sailu, has reportedly gone to the police station in the wee hours of Saturday after the offence and surrendered to them.
It is learnt that the accused had committed the offence in inebriated condition. The couple has three daughters. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
