Bharat Biotech Reduces Covaxin Injection Price At Rs 400

Hyderabad, April 29 (Maxim News): In the wake of growing criticism by people against more price, Bharat Biotech company of Hyderabad has taken a decision to reduce Covaxin injection price.

The company informed that the vaccine dose cost is now Rs 400.

The company said that it will supply Covaxin jabs to all states at this reduced prices. The state government has urged the company to reduce prices of Covaxin at a time of Corona cases rise.

Thus the Hyderabad based Bharat Biotech company has come down and announced of reduction in prices. Earlier it was put at Rs 600 a jab that invited criticism from people and political parties.

The government offered to give free vaccines to its people. For the purpose the government announced to spend Rs 2500 Cr. Bharat Biotech on government request promised to give more injections stocks to the state. (Maxim News)
