KCR helped farmers with Rythu Bandhu, Modi dumped with black acts: KTR

Hyderabad, Jan.10 (Maxim News): Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today claimed that only Telangana state in India is offering Rs 50,000 crore funds so far towards farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme. This time as many as 64 lakhs of farmers have been getting Rythu Bandhu financial assistance and events are to mark the same, he claimed. He challenged that the two national parties the Congress and the BJP should give such financial assistance to the farmers.

Talking to press persons at the TRS Bhavan here, KT Rama Rao said that TRS means Telangana Rythu Samithi as the farmers are getting all help of 24 hour power and Rs 10000 per acre in two spells. Telangana which was Koti Rathanala Veena and now mukkoti tons of farm production, he claimed. Telangana is now giving food grains to the entire country that the FCI is unable to procure our yield.

The KCR Government will keep the promise of Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver, he said. In the combined state Telangana faced power shortage and farmers suffered bullets as about 15 lakhs of people from Palamur (Mahabub Nagar) migrated for livelihood and now in the own state the situation is different. Now with more irrigation projects, all support to the farmers and community professions the villages are getting back to past glory of greenery and more farm yield. As we built Kaleshwaram, Palamur, Sitharama and other projects to be completed he said adding that the Centre should do something for the farmers instead of coming in the way of our development. The leaders of the opposition parties who are making charges are also getting Rythu Bandhu in our state which is witnessing a golden harvest of 3 crore mt of paddy.

He charged that the BJP Government at the Centre suppressed the farmers with black acts and the Telangana state is known for whitepaper like policies to help the farmers and people. He slammed the Modi Government for suppressing the farmers with three farm laws. Only for the polls in five states the BJP Government had to repeal the same black farm laws after 15 months of protests at national borders, he said.

The Minister lashed out at the BJP and the Congress parties for failing to help the farmers and indulging in malicious campaigns. The Congress and the BJP being national parties lack any plan to help the farmers, workers and people, he charged. They miserably failed to protect the farmers, and the poor class and tried to blame the TRS Government on welfare schemes, he retorted.

No other states are able to give such financial assistance to the farmers in our country, he said. Rythu bandhu celebrations are being conducted till Sankranthi festival by the farmers and the people alike, he claimed. Taking his call the TRS leadership is participating in rythu bandhu celebrations across the state by following corona protocols.

The event is to inform the country that the new state is offering its best to the farmers while the Centre suppressed them with black laws.

In the wake of covid-19 restrictions extended till Jan 20 against the rallies and public meetings, the TRS leadership is involved in conducting rythu bandhu event till Sankranthi festival following corona protocols. There are no suicides by farmers who are getting all help from the KCR Government, KTR said. (Maxim News)
