Revanth Reddy writes open letter to CM
Hyderabad, March 3 (Maxim News): TPCC President and MP A. Revanth Reddy today wrote an open letter to the Chief Minister of the state KCR and expressed his objections over the postings of all India services officers. Stating that one of the main aspirations behind the formation of separate Telangana state is self rule, he told the CM that the self rule was the buzz word during the separate state agitation that took place between 1960 to 2009. He said that their party president Sonia Gandhi , after recognizing the importance of the self rule, formed the telangana state in the year 2014.
He told the CM that the state was still under the clutches of the rule of the outsiders. Reminding the CM about his statement made in a TV interview in the year 2008 that his ancestors came to the state from Bihar, he told the CM that he had handed over the administration of the Telangana state in the Hands of the officers of Bihar . He made it clear that the Bihar mark was clearly seen on the administration of the state and added that there was no trace of the aspirations of the separate telangana movement . Revanth said that the people of the state would not tolerate the presence of the all India officers from Bihar around KCR. He asked the CM about the reasons behind his dependence over the officials of Bihar despite the presence of several officers from the state . He asked the CM as to why he was not inclined to utilise the Services of the 157 IAS and 139 IPS officers present in the state instead of depending on the officers from Bihar ? He asked the CM as to how he should understand the decision of the CM to appoint the officers from Bihar in the post of the chief secretary and DGP of the state while wondering the reasons behind the inclination of the CM towards the officers from Bihar.
Speaking further, he reeled out the names of the IAS officers belonging to Bihar and said that officers like Somesh kumar, Rajat kumar , Arvind kumar, Sandeep kumar Sultania , jayesh Ranjan, Neetu kumari Prasad and IPS officer Anjani kumar belonged to Bihar state .
Targeting the chief secretary of the state Somesh Kumar, he told the CM that Somesh kumar was allotted to neighbouring AP state cadre at the time of the bifurcation of the state and added that Somesh Kumar was continuing in telangana cadre after securing a stay from the central administrative tribunal . He told the CM that the Department Of Personal and Training (DOPT) challenged the stay order of the CAT in the high court of the state. He said that he was clueless about the mysterious power that is preventing the hearing on the case against Somesh kumar in the HC. He told the CM that attempts were being made by the same mysterious powers to ensure the continuation of Somesh kumar till the last day of his retirement which is due next year . He made it clear that Somesh kumar was not legible for the post of the chief secretary of the state . He alleged that Somesh Kumar had left his service between 1997-1999 and worked for a private firm and added that Somesh did the same thing between 2005-2008 while noting that Somesh is eligible for the post of the principal secretary of the state if the four years of recess period of Somesh was excluded from his total service. He also told the CM that the CS had committed contempt of court in 250 cases and added that the state government had sanctioned ₹60 crore to the CS to bear the cost of the court cases.
Commenting on the irrigation department principal secretary Rajat Kumar , he alleged that Kumar had removed the names of 30 lakh voters illegally from the voters’ before GHMC elections and added that kumar had ignored the complaints made on the issue. He said that officials like Jayesh Ranjan and Arvind Kumar were discharging crucial roles in the portfolios held by the family members of the CM.
