One killed in police firing during anti-Agnipath stir in Secunderabad Rly station
Hyderabad, June 17 (Maxim News): One person was killed while 13 persons were critically injured during the protest against the union government’s Agnipath scheme for recruitment in armed forces at Secunderabad Railway station here on Friday.
The deceased person hailing from Warangal district, who was injured in the firing was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The critically injured persons were admitted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad where the condition of two persons are said to be critical, police said.

The government railway police who rushed to the protest site warned the protesters who indulged in the violence acts, including setting ablaze of railway coaches, stone pelting and ransacking food stalls on the platform of resorting to firing if protestors didn’t disperse.
Tension situation prevailed at the busy railway station area owing to the anti-Agnipath protests following which additional forces were deployed in and around the railway station. (Maxim News)
