BJP MP D. Arvind booked for abusing CM

Hyderabad, July 20: The Saroornagar police have filed a complaint against Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri for allegedly insulting the chief minister and making provocative remarks.

Asserting that the MP had abused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and other people during a press conference held on July 13 at the BJP State office in Nampally, city-based attorney Ravi Kumar went to the Saroornagar police. The advocate claimed to have found the MP’s speech on YouTube.

Based on the complaint, the police booked a case against Arvind Dharmapuri under Section 504 and 505 (1) (c) of the IPC.
