Asaduddin Owaisi condemns Raja Singh’s Prophet comments
Hyderabad, Aug.23 (Maxim News): All India Majlis e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana MLA Raja Singh over his alleged remarks on Prophet Mohammad, stating that it was a deliberate attempt by the BJP to destroy the country’s social fabric.
Addressing a press conference here, Owaisi said,” I condemn the comments made by the BJP MLA. BJP doesn’t want to see peace in Hyderabad. They hate the Prophet and Muslims. They want to destroy the social fabric of India,”.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should at least react to the issue.
” Fight with us politically but not like this. If PM Modi and BJP do not support these comments, then they should react. I will say to those people not to take the law into their hands,” Owaisi said.
Meanwhile, Police took Raja Singh into custody for allegedly making remarks against the Prophet Mohammad. (Maxim News)
