High Court allows BJP to conduct public meeting at Warangal
Hyderabad, August 26: Telangana High Court on Friday granted permission to the BJP for conducting a public meeting at Arts College grounds in Warangal on Saturday. The BJP moved a lunch motion petition after police denied nod to public meeting. BJP national president JP Nadda will be addressing the meeting being organised on the closing day of third phase of Praja Sangrama Yatra.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi imposed restrictions on public meetings and rallies under the Warangal Commissionerate limits from Friday to Wednesday (August 31) for maintaining law and order. He warned of taking action against those who violate the Police Act.
