Trouble has started for double-engine governments: Jairam Ramesh
Hyderabad, Nov.5 (NSS): Taking a swipe at rival BJP, former union minister and veteran Congress leader Jairam Ramesh today said that trouble had started for double-engine state governments led by the saffron party in the country.
Speaking to media persons at Danampally of Andol Mandal from Sangareddy district, Ramesh said that the people of Telangana were facing problems under the rule of the TRS party and added that they came to know about the problems of the people during the ongoing padayatra of the party leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that the padayatra would immensely help the party unit in the state and added that Rahul Gandhi had met all sections of society. He also said that the people of the state were also suffering due to prime minister Narendra Modi’s rule
Commenting on the recent Munugodu assembly constituency by-elections, he alleged that all people knew as to what kind of operations the TRS and the BJP conducted to win i the by-elections. He said that the padayatra of Rahul Gandhi was receiving support from all the sections of the society and it had provided a lot of energy to the party cadres of the state . He said that the padayatra had completed seven days in Telangana so far and added that Rahul Gandhi had started the padayatra for a greater cause while making it clear that the padayatra is not being held by keeping in view of elections.
Speaking further Ramesh said that Rahul Gandhi were finding out the problems of the people of the country in his padayatra and added that hundreds of students , workers and social activists met with the former president of the party. He said that the congress party gave the separate Telangana state despite knowing the fact that it would harm it and added that it was a difficult decision for them. (NSS)
