MLC Kavitha | Hyderabad Dec 1 | TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that the ED and CBI filing cases against ministers and MLAs along with her is a bad and vile political move by BJP.

It is known that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday in a court filed a remand report in its investigation into, the now scrapped, Delhi liquor policy case.

In this context, she spoke to the scribes at her residence in Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad on Thursday.

While speaking to media she said that it has been eight years since the Modi government came to power in the country. We are observing that BJP came to power in nine states by illegally replacing the democratically elected governments. “Bachcha bachcha jaanta hai, Modi se pehle ED aata hai (every child knows, ED arrives before Modi),” she said, challenging PM Modi to put her in jail if he wants to. The ED came here ahead of Modi as Telangana Assembly elections are due next December. That is becoming the norm.

ED and CBI cases against ministers and MLAs are a bad move. No need to ignore it. We are ready for any inquiry.

“If the respective agencies come for investigations, we will definitely cooperate with them. But, if they try to spoil the good name of the leaders by leaking the information, people will reject them. This trend should be changed. We have to win by telling people what we will do democratically… not by using ED and CBI. You will not be able to do that in Telangana where people are highly appreciative of the incumbent government. If you say no, you will be put in jail… What will happen? What is there to be afraid of? As long as the people are with us and as long as TRS works for the people with sincerity, no one will face any problem,” commented Kavitha.
