Hyderabad, Sept 13: The Telangana High Court Bar Association distributed eco friendly clay Ganesh idols to advocates as part of its Ganesh Chaturthi initiative.
Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh participated in the distribution at the court premises.
Bar Association office bearers, advocates and GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan, IAS, also attended the programme.
Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols Promote Responsible Celebrations
The initiative encourages people to choose natural clay idols instead of Plaster of Paris idols.
The organisers said the effort aims to promote responsible celebrations and protect Hyderabad’s environment and water bodies.

The Chief Justice highlighted the importance of collective participation in eco friendly festivities.
He also stressed sustainable practices and proper arrangements for idol immersion.
Judges and advocates appreciated and supported the initiative.
The programme also encouraged citizens to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi while reducing the environmental impact of idol immersion.
