Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): YSRTP President, Y.S Sharmila has accused Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao of pushing the Aarogyasri Scheme (Treatment for all diseases to poor in corporate hospitals) into a coma. The poor people scheme was introduced by the late YS Rajshekhara Reddy during his regime with the aim to provide free medical treatment to the poor at the corporate level for any disease.

Sharmila said that through this Aarogyasri Scheme lakhs of people have undergone free treatment and operations. She alleged that KCR has made a conspiracy to dilute the scheme meant for the poor people

She said that 104 ambulances that provide free medical care and medicines to the poor in the village have already been stopped. She expressed her anger that now he is making a fuss about Aarogyashri.

Thousands of crores of rupees are being spent on the construction of the BRS office, thousands of crores are in the BRS party account, lakhs of crores got through commissions from Kalelshwaram and other projects, but there are no money Rs. 800 crores per annum for the treatment of the poor?
