AIMIM Candidate Mirza Rahmat Baig Formally Elected As MLC
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (maxim News): Keeping in view that the returning officer has found the nomination for the MLC seat of Hyderabad Local Bodies of Mirza Rahmat Baig on behalf of the AIMIM party is correct, this cleared the line for the AIMIM party and the victory is only symbolic.
For the Hyderabad Local Bodies, two nominations have been filed for the post of MLC of local bodies in Hyderabad. Independent candidate Mohammad Rahim Khan is one of them. However, his nomination was rejected during scrutiny. Rahim khan’s supporters were rejected by the election officials as they were not voters.
The Returning Officer also said that after scrutiny, all 21 nominations for the constituency of Teacher MLC of Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy-Mahbubnagar districts are correct. (Maxim News)
