Air Force Officials Survey Land For Adilabad Airport

Hyderabad, August 21: Air Force officials conducted an aerial survey in Adilabad on Thursday as part of preparations for the proposed airport.

The officials arrived from Bengaluru and surveyed potential sites using a helicopter.

They inspected areas including Kach Kanti, Anukuta and Khanapur to identify suitable land for the airport.

Adilabad Airport Survey Moves Ahead

The state government has already completed its survey for the proposed airport.

Officials have now started the process for land acquisition. The state government has sanctioned Rs 2,278 crore for the project.

Around 2,009 acres of land are expected to be acquired for the airport.

The latest Air Force survey marks another step towards the long pending project.

Local residents have welcomed the development and expressed hope that the airport construction will progress soon.
