Hyderabad, Aug.5 (Maxim News): Telangana Transport Minister Ajay Kumar today offered Rs 23 lakhs towards ambulance services for the hospitals in the state.
This gesture is in response to IT Minister KT Rama Rao call for “Gift a smile” to mark his birthday recently.
Ajay Kumar has called KTR at Pragati Bhavan here and offered him the cheque. The minister gave the cheque for Rs 23 lakhs in his personal capacity for the cause. The IT minister urged the party leaders to avoid bouquets or other gifts and offer instead money for helping Corona patients.
In response the ruling party leaders came forward to give a total of 100 ambulances for treating Corona patients as the positive cases are rising in the city and districts. It may be said here that KTR has launched 6 such ambulances in his personal capacity for the purpose. (Maxim News)
