- University clarifies no connection to doctors arrested in Faridabad module
- Al Falah University assures full cooperation with Delhi blast probe
Al Falah University has publicly denied any connection to the Delhi Red Fort blast that killed at least ten people. In a formal statement, Vice Chancellor Bhupinder Kaur said the institution strongly condemns the attack and refuted claims linking its staff to the Faridabad terror module. She clarified that the individuals arrested were associated with the university only in their official capacities.
After the Delhi explosion, police arrested Professor Muzammil Shakeel from the university’s Faridabad campus. Officials also seized explosives, firearms, and bomb-making materials during the raids. Responding to the reports, Kaur stated that no such dangerous substances are ever stored within university premises. She added that all laboratories are used strictly for academic and research purposes, under regulated safety norms.
The Vice Chancellor further said that the university is extending complete cooperation to the investigation teams. She emphasized the institution’s commitment to transparency and truth, expressing confidence that facts would clear the university’s name. “We are fully cooperating with investigative agencies to reach a fair and conclusive outcome,” she said.
Meanwhile, central and state agencies continue to uncover what authorities call a white-collar terror network operating across Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. So far, seven suspects, including two doctors, have been arrested in connection with the probe. During the extensive raids, security forces recovered over 2,900 kilograms of explosive materials and several weapons allegedly tied to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) networks.
The case has drawn national attention due to the unusual professional profiles of the accused and the scale of the arms recovery. However, Al Falah University maintains that it remains committed to peace, education, and lawful cooperation in the ongoing investigation.
