Hyderabad, Sept. 15 (Maxim News): Police have reopened the rowdy sheet against Chinnaboyin Shankar, alias Amberpet Shankar, following recent cases involving alleged threats.
Amberpet police said the rowdy sheet, which was closed in 2019, has now been reopened based on the recent cases registered against him. Police are continuing their investigation into the allegations.
Recently, Banjara Hills police registered a case against Shankar and six others based on a complaint by builder G. Anjaneyulu. According to police, the builder alleged that the accused pressured him to agree to a settlement and threatened him.
Anjaneyulu reportedly told police that he was warned of serious consequences if he refused to accept the settlement. He also alleged that threats were made against his family members.
Banjara Hills threat case under investigation
Based on the builder’s complaint, Banjara Hills police booked seven people, including Shankar. Investigators are examining the dispute, the alleged settlement pressure and the circumstances surrounding the threats.
Police are also looking into a separate alleged threat case reported within the Medipally police station limits. The exact details and circumstances of that case are still under investigation.
Police said the recent cases were taken into consideration while reopening Shankar’s previously closed rowdy sheet. The investigation into the allegations is continuing. (Maxim News)
