Hyderabad, April 16 (Maxim News): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today wrote an open letter to the chief minister of the state KCR over the status of the irrigation projects of the state and dared KCR to hold a debate on the issue with him .
In his letter written to the CM, he said that the promises made by the CM when he was the MP of Mahbubnagar were not fulfilled even during the last 8 years of the TRS party rule . He alleged that the CM was taking credit of the irrigation projects completed by the previous governments. He said that the people of Palamuru were not able to cultivate their lands due to lack of irrigation water and added that the people were forced to migrate to different parts of the country for their livelihood.
Referring to the award of bachavath tribunal , the water should be allocated to other areas of the state after meeting the requirements of catchment areas and added that the orders were being ignored by successive governments in the issue of the allocation of the Krishna river water .
