Bank Holiday October 3: Check Branch And Online Services
Under the RBI’s banking holiday schedule, banks generally remain open on the first, third and fifth Saturdays. However, branches remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays. Therefore, October 3 is a regular working day for banks.
Meanwhile, customers can continue using digital banking services even when branches remain closed. These include UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs and IMPS.
Customers who require in-person banking services should plan their visits accordingly. While October 2 is a bank holiday for Gandhi Jayanti, October 3 is a working Saturday.
