There are millions of people today working as app developers, ride-sharing drivers, drone operators, and social media marketers, jobs that did not exist a decade ago, said Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson and MD of Biocon.
Addressing the convocation of Institute of Management Technology (IMT) here on Wednesday, Kiran said these days employment mantra is all about job opportunity and not job security. She said currently the job market for young men and women was vast and varied and perhaps the most disruptive change is that of a shift in the societal mind-set that no longer seeks job security but job opportunity.
