Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News): The Working President of the National BRS party, son of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development. IT and Industries, K.Tarak Rama Rao have given the instructions to the concerned officials to begin the verification process of over 1.25 lakh beneficiaries who were distributed house-site pattas in the year 2014 under the G.O 58.
The Cabinet subcommittee meeting on house sites met under the Chairmanship of K.Tarak Rama Rao at BRKR Bhavan, today, in which Minister for Finance t. Harish Rao, Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development E.Dayakar Rao, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Labour Minister Ch. Malla Reddy, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, special CS Irrigation Rajat Kumar, Spl. CS Finance K. Ramakrishna Rao, Spl CS MAUD Arvind Kumar, and other officials attended the meeting.
In the meeting, it has been discussed on the issues relating to providing house sites to all the eligible beneficiaries in the state. Issues relating to the implementation of G.O 58 and G.O 59, Sadabinama, Notarised documents, and endowment. Waqf lands etc were deliberated in the meeting.
The officials have informed the Cabinet sub-Committee that in the year 2014 (about 10 years back) over 1.25 lakh beneficiaries were distributed pattas, in this period the verification process in respect of 20,685 houses has been completed under G.O 58. However, the Cabinet Sub-Committee has directed to expedite the issue of house site pattas. KTR directed the officials to come up with a “People First” policy wherein people below the poverty line are in occupation for residential purposes, action should be taken to issue house site pattas.
Referring to notarised documents, which are more prevalent in Urban areas, the Cabinet sub-Committee mandated the officials to finalise the procedure and time-bound action plan. The committee requested all officials to take a “pro-poor” approach and expedite the completion of all formalities in all the eligible cases (Maxim news)
