BJP, Cong Will Face Defeat In Polls: KTR

Hyderabad, March 23 (Maxim News): Welcoming the Congress leaders from Tandur and Maheshwaram segments into the TRS fold at Telangana Bhavan, its working president KT Rama Rao turned down the comments of Congress MP Candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy that the Congress had developed the nation. KTR alleged that the BJP and the Congress failed to develop the nation and the people were looking for an alternative now. KTR said the nation did not develop by the two national parties in the last 70 years.

KTR said, “The Congress has turned into a big regional party and ours is a small party. If we have 16 MP seats, the Congress will have 40 seats as it lost the people’s confidence. He said, “Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi may win the polls in Uttar Pradesh if Mayavathi and Akhilesh Yadav support them. Else, the Congress will not get even those seats in the polls. The Congress was not at all a national party for failing to win the hearts of the people”, he added. Due to failure of these two national parties, the nation was still facing problems like drinking water, power supply, farmers, roads, irrigation projects and so on.

The TRS working president reminded that the Congress lost in 20 States and the TRS got people’s support. A survey report revealed that K Chandrashekhar Rao R was No 1 Chief Minister in the country. The TRS will play a key role at the Centre after the polls, he said. The TRS will win 16 MP seats easily and ensure our voice heard in Parliament to achieve out legitimate rights, he added.
