BJP Has No Place In Telangana: Uttam Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad, July 21 (Maxim News): Coming down heavily on rival BJP in the state, TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday said that there was no place for the saffron party in the state. He said that the BJP had secured just 7 percent votes in the recent elections in the state. He mocked that the BJP leaders were dreaming big after the victory of just four MPs in the State.

Reddy made it clear that the Congress Party was strong in the State while noting that the it was the only alternative to ruling TRS party in the state. Taking a potshots at the state government on its delimitation of wards , he said that the entire process of delimitation of the wards and provision of reservations were full of mistakes. He said that the high court of the state had faulted the process adopted by the State Government. He said that the reservations must be provided based on the population of the BCs in the State. Commenting on the decision of the state government to hold the elections in an indirect manner, he said that the organization of the elections in an indirect manner was nothing but encouraging political defections in the state. He said that the congress party would register a thumping victory in the municipal elections. (Maxim News)
