BJP Slams Revanth Reddy On British Jana Party Remark

Hyderabad,Jan. 19 (Maxim News): BJP leaders on Monday strongly condemned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s remark describing the BJP as the British Jana Party.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay said the Congress was founded by a British civil servant, AO Hume. He added that the party has now turned into what he called the Italy National Congress. He accused Congress of using the Gandhi name only for political gain.

Bandi Sanjay stated that Mahatma Gandhi wanted Congress dissolved after Independence. He claimed people are defeating Congress to fulfill Gandhi’s vision. He made these remarks in a social media post reacting to Revanth Reddy’s comment on the BJP.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders also mocked the Young India Skill University, which Revanth Reddy considers a flagship initiative. Bandi Sanjay suggested introducing a politics course at the skill university. He added that Revanth Reddy should be its first student.

He alleged the Chief Minister suffers from a political skills gap. Therefore, he said such statements reflect irresponsibility. BJP leaders further claimed Prime Minister Narendra Modi is freeing the country from what they called a slave mindset nurtured by Congress for decades.

They said the central government delivers welfare schemes beyond caste and religion. The leaders asserted that BJP governance focuses on development and national interest. The British Jana Party remark by Revanth Reddy continues to trigger sharp political reactions across Telangana. (Maxim News)
