Guwahati/Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News) Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma said that the BJP will win the assembly elections in Assam and Bengal by a landslide. He said that the BJP’s graph has become more aggressive after the first phase of elections. He said that his party will register amazing victories in the states of Assam and Bengal. He said that the sentiment towards his party has increased among the people. Speaking at a media conference, he said that the first phase of elections has been completed and he is saying with full confidence that the BJP will win 119 seats in the first phase of Bengal elections, and will win 100 seats in Assam and 200 seats in Bengal, Biswa Sharma said.
Polling in Tamil Nadu and Bengal on April 23 went smoothly. No proposal for re polling was received there. Polling was held on a single day in Tamil Nadu, which has 234 seats. But in Bengal, it is being held in two phases. Elections have been concluded for 151 seats in the first phase. Polling will be held for 142 seats in the second phase to be held on the 29th.
