Good News For Unemployed Youth: Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme Launched

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): The Centre has good news for the unemployed youth of the country. With the aim of increasing employment opportunities and providing practical experience in industries, the ”Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2026” has been launched. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Youth Services and Sports jointly launched this scheme on April 24. The aim of this scheme is to make youth aware of the global business environment in various sectors and professions.

Qualifications

Education: Anyone who has completed 10th class, Inter, ITI, Diploma along with Degree or PG can apply.
Age: Should be between 18 to 25 years

Status: Those who are currently studying or working anywhere are not eligible for this.

Financial Benefits:

Those selected under this scheme will be financially supported by the government and the companies.
They will receive a stipend of Rs. 9,000 every month.
Joining Grant: Immediately after joining the internship, an initial incentive of Rs. 6,000 will be provided.
This training will last for 6 to 9 months.

Opportunities in Telangana

There are huge opportunities in districts like Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Yadadri, Peddapalli in Telangana. The youth of these districts can avail this scheme opportunity. Interested youth will have to register on the mybharat.gov.in portal. They should select the ‘roll’ and region appropriate to their educational qualification and apply online.
