BRS MLA Rekha Nayak Applied For Congress Ticket
Hyderabad, Aug 22 (Maxim News): BRS MLA from Khanapur, Rekha Nayak has applied for a Congress ticket to contest the next elections.
Even though she has not officially joined the party, she has applied for the ticket. It is mentioned in the application to contest from the Khanapur assembly segment. On behalf of Rekha Naik, her PA applied at Gandhi Bhavan.
Her husband Shyam Naik applied to contest the Asifabad segment. Rekha Naik who is currently a BRS MLA, will resign from the party after Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao denied her a ticket.
It is known that she join Congress in the presence of Revanth Reddy. Her husband Shyam Naik has already joined the Congress. Meanwhile, KCR has fielded Johson Naik as Khanapur’s candidate. (Maxim News)
