BRS | Hyderabad, April 26 (Maxim News): Former MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha launched her new political party on Saturday before a huge gathering, but the sharp criticism she directed at former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) became the biggest talking point of the event.
Throughout her speech, Kavitha repeatedly targeted her father and BRS chief KCR, alleging that he failed to deliver real benefits to Telangana despite ruling the state for ten years.
She also made strong personal remarks, calling him distant from public issues and accusing the previous leadership of ignoring people’s aspirations.
BRS Silent on Kavitha KCR Remarks
Despite the intensity of the attack, no senior BRS leader publicly responded till late Saturday night.
Even hours after the meeting concluded, the party maintained complete silence on Kavitha’s comments.
According to party sources, the BRS high command reportedly instructed leaders and cadre not to react to the statements either before the media or on social media platforms.
Leaders were also advised to avoid unnecessary debate over the issue. Political observers believe the silence is part of a calculated strategy.
They say any direct response from BRS leaders could give greater political attention and visibility to Kavitha’s newly launched party.
By ignoring the remarks, the party may be trying to prevent her from gaining momentum in the early phase.
Sources said the BRS leadership is internally assessing the situation and may choose a suitable time to respond.
Meanwhile, another discussion has gained momentum within party circles.
BRS is scheduled to hold an important meeting at Telangana Bhavan on April 27 as part of its silver jubilee closing events. KCR is expected to attend the gathering personally.
Party insiders believe the BRS chief may use that platform to address the latest political developments, including Kavitha’s exit and her criticism.
Leaders also expect the meeting to focus on the party’s future strategy and organisational direction.
