Chilkalguda police nab 4-wheeler lifter, recover ambulance

Hyderabad, Sept.20 (NSS): Today, the Chilkalguda police on a tip-off arrested one Kaki Yadagiri alias Yadi of IDH colony, New Bhoiguda, Secunderabad and recovered ambulance vehicle No TS22-T-5379, worth Rs 3.7 lakh.

The police said they received a complaint from one Lingampally Srinivas, Ambulance driver, of Vavillapally, Karimnagar Town stating that on September 19, he came to Gandhi Hospital along with a patient Rajender of Kannala village, Palakurthy Mandal, Peddapally Distict, who consumed pesticide. He said he parked his ambulance opposite Emergency Ward in Gandhi Hospital. He left the keys in the vehicle and taken the patient inside and after 10 minutes when he came out from the emergency ward, the complainant did not find his vehicle in the parking premises, which is worth Rs 3,70,000.

The arrest was made under the supervision of G Venkateshwarlu, Addl DCP, North Zone, N Sudhir, ACP Gopalapuram, by G. Naresh, SHO, K. Nageswara Rao, DI and N. Sai Krishna, SI, along with Crime staff of Chilkalguda Police Station. (NSS)
