Cinema Shooting in Tollywood to Stop from Tomorrow
Hyderabad, July 31 (Maxim News): Cinema shooting in Tollywood will be stopped from today. The Active Telugu Producers Guild has decided to stop the shootings. A general body meeting of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce decided to extend its support to the guild and stop the film shootings .
The meeting of the chamber of commerce was held in the city today . The guild has decided to ahead with its strike although several movies are under production. Due to the strike , No new film shoots will hit the floors and the under production movies’ shoots will be halted.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of the film chamber of commerce Basi Reddy said that the had decided to stop the film shootings for some days. He said that the producers, distributors and exhibitors were not happy with the existing conditions in the film industry. He said that they would also hold discussions with 24 departments of movie making very soon. He however said that their decision would not have any impact on other language movie shootings being held in the city.
The decision has also halted the movie shootings of top heroes of Tollywood Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Reacting on the issue, producer Dil Raju said that they all would sit together and would not resume movie shootings until a solution was found . (Maxim News)
