Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): With the local body election notification out and the 42 percent BC reservation issue still pending in the Telangana High Court, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued strong directives to Congress party leaders.
At a virtual meeting led by PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, the Chief Minister ordered ministers and in-charge officials to leave Hyderabad and focus solely on their local constituencies for the duration of the elections.
Revanth Reddy insisted that all in-charge ministers must remain on the ground in their assigned areas, paying close attention to local matters and keeping in regular contact with their MLAs.
He stressed the importance of addressing any doubts about nominations through the party’s legal cell and staying up to speed on the reservation case in court, promising immediate action based on any court rulings.
The Chief Minister also warned leaders against making political statements until the PCC finalizes selections for MPP and ZP Chairman positions.
He emphasized that choosing the right candidates and maintaining discipline in public messaging is crucial during this important phase for the party.
