Congress Attempt To Seize Pragathi Bhavan: Police foiled

Congress | Hyderabad, Dec 14 (Maximum News): The Congress leaders who are angry about the police searches in the Congress war room have made an attempt to lay siege to Pragati Bhavan at Begumpet here on Wednesday.

Alerted to this, the police deployed heavy forces at Gandhi Bhavan from where the Congress leaders planned to move to Pragathi Bhavan after burning the effigy of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao.

The congress workers prepared to lay siege to Pragati Bhavan, but the police stopped them at Gandhi Bhavan. This led to an argument between the police and Congress leaders. The party leaders took initiative at Gandhi Bhavan as the police stopped them at every step.

On the other hand, in the wake of the Congress call to lay siege to the Command Control Center, heavy police deployment has been made around the Center.

Hotels and restaurants around the Center are being searched. Whoever looks suspicious is being detained.

So far, the police have detained two people and are interrogating them. Not even a single vehicle is allowed to park around the Command Control Center.

Congress Vijaya Reddy Arrested

The protest of Congress leaders led to tension in many places, while party seniors protested near Gandhi Bhavan, party workers tried to besiege the Command Control Center. This created a tense situation in both places. Police stopped congress leader and Khairatabad Corporator Vijaya Reddy. The police forcefully grabbed her and arrested her. she suddenly fell down. The female police took Vijaya Reddy into the police van.

On the other hand, tension continues near Gandhi Bhavan. The police stopped the congress leaders who tried to burn the effigy of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao. Congress leaders and workers protested against police searches in the Congress war room. There was tension as they tried to push the barricades set up by the police. Along with the government, the leaders raised slogans against the police.
