Leading a major development drive in Kamareddy district as part of the ‘Panula Jaatara’ initiative, Shabbir Ali laid foundation stones for several infrastructure projects in rural areas and launched multiple welfare initiatives. He inaugurated Gram Panchayat buildings in Sardapur Thanda, Marri Thanda, Gunti Thanda, Vaddera Colony, and Vadi village of Palwancha mandal, each sanctioned with a budget of Rs 20 lakh. Additionally, Anganwadi buildings were launched in Nemaligutta Thanda and Venukathanda, each costing Rs 12 lakh.

As part of the outreach, Shabbir Ali also distributed sanction letters to beneficiaries under the Indiramma housing scheme, formally launched the construction of new houses, and handed over food security ration cards to eligible families.

Addressing gatherings at multiple locations, Shabbir Ali said that he witnessed genuine joy in people’s eyes during his village visits. He criticised the previous BRS government, stating that in its 10-year rule, the poor were denied basic entitlements like ration cards and houses, while its leaders amassed personal wealth. He alleged that during the BRS regime, public representatives did not visit villages and those who tried to raise grievances were threatened or silenced.

Shabbir Ali said the Congress government under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is committed to building a pro-poor administration, rooted in the vision of Indiramma. He said the government was working with the belief that no poor person should remain homeless and that every eligible family must receive a house.

He highlighted ongoing welfare measures, stating that Rs 9,000 crore had been disbursed under the Rythu Bharosa scheme within just nine days to support farmers. He said the government is implementing Rythu Bima insurance and making efforts to ensure the timely supply of fertilisers. In Kamareddy constituency alone, 3,500 Indiramma houses have been sanctioned for the poor. He added that women are benefiting from a free bus travel scheme and that households are receiving 200 units of free electricity. Cooking gas is being provided at Rs 500 per cylinder, and fine rice is being distributed free of cost to the poor through ration shops.
