COVID-19: Telangana Records 2392 Cases, 11 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 2392 new Covid-19 infections and 11 fatalities on Monday, taking the overall toll to 906 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 1,45,163. As on Monday, the total active Covid-19 cases in TS are 31,670.

As many as 2,346 persons have recovered by Monday, pushing the overall Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,12,587 with a recovery rate of 77.5 per cent, which is equal to the countrywide recovery rate.

Between Sunday and Monday, the health authorities conducted 60,923 Covid tests in the State while reports of another 1,606 samples are awaited. Overall, so far authorities have conducted 18,27,905 Covid-19 tests.

A total of 24,579 Covid-19 positive patients are under home isolation across the State while 7,091 positive cases are in institutional care.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 33 from Adilabad, 95 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 304 from areas under the GHMC, 64 from Jagtiyal, 38 from Jangaon, 18 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 22 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 76 from Kamareddy, 157 from Karimnagar, 116 from Khammam, 20 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 45 from Mahabubnagar, 71 from Mahabubabad, 69 from Mancherial, 36 from Medak, 132 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 20 from Mulugu, 53 from Nagarkurnool, 105 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, 34 from Nirmal, 102 from Nizamabad, 68 from Peddapally, 64 from Rajanna Sircilla, 191 from Rangareddy, 37 from Sangareddy, 89 each from Siddipet, 101 from Suryapet, 15 from Vikarabad, 40 from Wanaparthy, 21 from Warangal Rural, 91 from Warangal Urban and 57 cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
