CP Launches Road Safety Summer Camp For Children

Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, launched Road Safety Summer Camp – 2019 for children between 11 and 15 years at Traffic Training Institute Goshamahal.

In the Summer Camp, children are taught about Traffic Awareness & Road Safety, Dance, Music, Painting, Cartoon, Hand writing and Personality development. The main focus will be to create Road safety awareness among children so that they become traffic rules abiding citizens and also spread the message among their peer group.

Addressing the gathering, the CP said, “Children are future of our city and country and they are smarter generations than previous generation”. CP Hyderabad motivated children by stating their determination and hard work will take glory and success to our county to new heights. The CP also quoted Rabindranath Tagore that “Every child born shows that god has not lost faith in mankind” and appealed children to “Never Ignore Rules”. He also sought cooperation of citizens in decreasing road accidents and spreading their knowledge and awareness to every citizen. The CP appreciated Honda group for creating new culture of road safety in children for many years with association of Hyderabad Traffic Police.

Anil Kumar, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, asked the children to make good use of this Summer Camp on Traffic Awareness and other activities. The Summer Camp was organized by the Hyderabad Traffic Police in association with Messrs Honda group and their representatives Prabhu Nagraj, vice-president and Harpreet Singh, AGM of Honda Motors Corp. Saroj Bala of Aryan dance academy, Ananth Raj of Raj Events, B Vittal, Karate Master, Yoddha Karate Organization India and Daniel from music lovers institute (will impart training to children on dance, music & karate etc.,) were also present during the launch.
