Hyderabad, July 29: Cyberabad Police staggered office logouts have been advised for companies and organisations across the commissionerate following forecasts of moderate to heavy rainfall on Wednesday. The Cyberabad Traffic Police requested offices to implement staggered early logouts from 3.30 pm onwards to reduce traffic congestion and improve public safety.
Police said the advisory aims to minimise travel related risks, reduce pressure on the road network and ensure the smooth movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions.
The Cyberabad Traffic Police urged organisations to share their office locations and proposed early logout schedules with traffic officials. The information will help authorities plan and manage traffic movement more effectively.
Officials said staggered employee dispersal is expected to prevent severe traffic snarls across major IT and commercial corridors as rainfall is likely to intensify later in the day.
The advisory comes a day after heavy rains caused widespread congestion across several parts of Hyderabad, with commuters facing long delays on key roads.
Traffic police appealed to organisations to cooperate with the initiative to ensure safer and smoother travel during the expected spell of heavy rain.
