Cyclone Ditwah Effect: Heavy Rains In Telangana, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 1 (Maxim News): Another cyclone is expected to affect Telangana. The impact of Cyclone Ditwah, which formed on the coast of Tamil Nadu, will be minor on the state. The Meteorological Department has said that due to the impact of this cyclone, heavy rains will occur in many districts of the state on Monday. It has said that the cyclone is likely to affect especially Khammam, Kothagudem, Suryapet, Nalgonda and Nagarkurnool districts. To this extent, a yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of light rains in the state on Tuesday as well. It has stated that due to the impact of the cyclone, Hyderabad is also likely to receive light to moderate rains.

Cyclone Ditva, which is currently centered 70 km from the Puducherry-Tamil Nadu coast, is likely to reach the north Tamil Nadu coast on Monday. Due to the impact of the cyclone, the weather in the southern districts will change from noon. The sky has already become cloudy in many districts. Due to the impact of the cyclone, the cold has subsided in the districts. In 18 districts of Telangana, the night temperatures were recorded below 15 degrees. In another 15 districts, the Meteorological Department said.

The lowest night temperature was recorded at Sirpur in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district at 9.7 degrees Celsius. The lowest night temperature was recorded at Arli (T) in Adilabad district at 10.3 degrees Celsius, at Menur in Kamareddy district at 10.8 degrees Celsius, at Salura in Nizamabad district at 10.9 degrees Celsius, at Kuntala in Nirmal district at 11 degrees Celsius, at Kohir in Sangareddy district at 11.2 degrees Celsius, at Marpalli in Vikarabad district at 12.4 degrees Celsius, at Mallapur in Rajanna Sircilla district at 12.5 degrees Celsius, and at Mallapur in Jagtial district at 12.5 degrees Celsius. The lowest night temperature in Hyderabad city was recorded at University of Hyderabad at 14.1 degrees Celsius. Night temperatures were recorded at BHEL at 14.4 degrees Celsius, at Rajendranagar at 14.7 degrees Celsius, and at Quthbullapur at 16.1 degrees Celsius. (Maxim News)
